Hi, Diane with you today to hopefully inspire YOU
to join our challenge this week which is Feeling Fall-ish!

I put this card together first by using a
Sizzix Susan's Garden Laurel Wreath embossing folder.
There are numerous embossing folders in the store to choose from.

I embossed it on  Champaign Neenah Pearlized Metallic card stock.
So very pretty with an elegant shimmer.

The pumpkin was cut with Memory Box Stitched Pumpkins,
using the largest of the three.
The card stock I used for the pumpkin  is Cryogen Curious Metallic,
giving the pumpkin itself a bit of shimmer.

The tiny flowers I cut using the Impression Obsession Hydrangea Set.
Each little flower was colored with Pan Pastels Flower Coloring Kit.
The colors from the kit I used are Orange and Red Iron Oxide.
I also used the  Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and
the Paper Blossoms Craft Molding Mat to form my flowers.
A suggestion if purchasing the Pan Pastels,
a good idea is to also purchase the PanPastel Lids.
These keep you colors nice and tidy and safe.

For the leaves I used an Impression Obsession Small Flower die set.
The branches are Memory Box Meadowbird Branch.

To finish I added a last snippet I had of orange ribbon
and a sentiment I had on hand.

Loads of Fun

Happy Fall to you!!
This is my post on the
Classy Cards 'n Such blog today!
You are welcome to use my discount code
DIANE-10 anytime to save 10% on your order!

Hi, Diane with you today!
It's hard to believe that Fall is almost here.....
time to start thinking about making a few Fall cards
and with all the dies available, it couldn't be any easier!

I started my card with a cream card base
topped with paper from the Authentique Collection called Faith.
I stitched it onto my card base for a bit of a frame.

I cut three trees using Impression Obsession Fir Trees.
The Impression Obsession Truck , I wanted a metallic look,
so I used Echo Bronze Stardream Metallic for the truck,
Silver Rhinestones were used for the hubcaps.

The pumpkins were so fun!
I used Impression Obsession Pumpkin Patch die,
which cuts several at one time in various sizes and shapes.
The pumpkins were cut from Mandarin Curious Metallic.

I added a stamped sentiment from Flourishes.

The tree, truck and pumpkins were all popped up
A little tip in using the foam pop ups,
is to use a marker the color of what you are popping up
on the foam pad sides, as then it will not be noticeable on the card!

Spooky Fun

This is  my card n the
hope you like it!!

Hi there and Happy Thursday to you!

I am trying real hard to get my Halloween cards made on time for once!
Dies R Us has oodles and oodles of Halloween/Fall dies to choose from.

I started my card with black card stock
and a snippet of paper from the scrap bin!
I tied a piece of Halloween twine around it and added a little tag.

I used one die for this card,
Die-Versions Sweet Petites "Fall Festival".
I cut this die first on craft foam, then from black card stock.

After adhering those 2 pieces together,
I cut each little image separately, then paper pieced them.
It really didn't take long at all to do it,
and it is a great way to use up those "snippets" of papers.

I think this die looks good just "standing on it's own"
without anything else to fancy it up!

There are several of these edge/border dies to choose from.
If you type in "Sweet Petites" you can see them all!

Visit us here Monday - Friday to see lots of awesome inspiration from the DT.
We have a challenge going on at the Dies R Us Challenge blog....
more inspiration to be found there, and a prize to be won for joining in!
Thank you for visiting with me today.
"I" will be seeing you next Thursday...hope to see you here!

Let's All Go To The Pumpkin Patch

Welcome to the first day of fall!
I have been busily decorating my house for Fall
(well when I am not raking up hundreds of pine cones that have fallen)
I love, love the fall season, not only in decorating my home,
but also in making Fall cards!

That brings us to this weeks challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters
where little oh' me is the hostess this time around and
I have chosen the theme of Pumpkin Patch for our challenge!

I had a plan all in mind for this challenge,
but right in the middle of it I have come down with a nasty flu bug.
As I write this my throat is sore and I think my head might fall off..lol...
and I never, ever get sick or it's rare...
must be one of those rare times!

So because I was feeling poorly,
I shoved my original idea aside and went with this quick and easy card!

I layered a bit of card stock, SU Cajun Craze onto cream.
The polka dot paper was laying around for another project and it was
the perfect color, so I grabbed it.
It is My Mind's Eye the Spider's web paper.

The focal image of my card is a label I bought in a set
about (hate to admit this) 12 years ago.
To that I added a few wheat die cuts cut from snippets in my scrap bag,
a bow, a few gems for bling and called it a day!

So head on over to The Sisterhood and see what my "sistahs"
have to get your creativeness going and join in with us!!

Hi, Diane with you today.
It seems fall is almost upon us and it is time
to start thinking about our holiday cards.
Classy Cards 'n Such is doing just that
with a challenge theme this week called Deer Season.

This is one of those cards with just the right dies
and papers, you could easily mass produce to send out
for your holiday cards.

I simply started by cutting out a Spellbinders Circle
from Authentique Believe 6 x 6 paper collection.
I adhered it down with 1/2" Scor -Tape.

The second circle was cut from
Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers.

The trees were cut using Impression Obsession Birch Trees.
Once cut, I rubbed Platinum Planet ink over them for a shimmer effect.
The little red cardinals are part of the Birch Trees die set
and were cut from scraps of Stardream Jupiter Metallic paper.

Next came the deer family, cut from Memory Box Deer Trio.
Did you know if you typed the word DEER in the search box
you will find a huge selection of deer to choose from?
Try it, and you will be amazed at how many there are!

Big Day Noted

I am joining in with Sparkle N Sprinkle for a FUN blog hop....
Please read through for a chance to win the stamp set below
and to see my projects....
It is a long post, but well worth it!!!!

Sparkle N Sprinkle is having a Mid-Month Mini Blog Hop so that we can showcase the new Big Day stamp set.

This is a planner/calendar stamp set that was included in this month's video technique kit club. This new set is 20% off until Sept 23.  So once you finish the blog hop, head on over to the store and start shopping.

A WINNER will be selected from the comments left on the Designers' blogs and will receive this new Big Day set along with the Basic Grey calendar kit also showcased in this month's video.

Please leave a comment with each Designer in order to be eligible for this Prize.  You never know who the Mystery Designer will be that has the winning comment.

The Grand Prize Winner, will be announced on Sept 23 on the SNS Facebook page and on the SNS Blog.

For my project I wanted to really
"think outside the box".
I came up with this fun idea to use these stamps
for what I am calling
"tuck ins".
My idea is that each of these could be "tucked" in .....
you will see what I mean by peeking below....
Each of these are a mere 3" x 3".
let your imagination roll!!
I will list all products used below each photo,
I used 9 of the 12 stamps.
The stamp set link is above....enjoy!

I thought this would be fun to "tuck in" a child's
lunch box with a treat for all his/her good  academic work!

Have a friend, child, or spouse traveling?
A great tuck in for them!

Fun to put on a co-workers desk
to have lunch together!

I thought this would be fun for those "no school" days when your child wakes up
and your "Schools are closed due to snow today" and you can "tuck" it in his cereal bowl...
what a nice surprise that will be!

How fun to put this in your spouse's
car, briefcase, lunch....
you could include movie tickets,
or a gift card to a restaurant...your treat!

This would be cute tied to a bottle of wine!
I hope I have given you some great ideas for
more uses for these stamps!

Now lets get "HOPPIN"!!

The Blog Hop order for our Mini Reveal is:

Each Day

This is my post on the
You are welcome to use my discount code DIANE-10
anytime on your order to save 10%!

Hello, Diane with you today!
Do you ever start a card, have an idea,
then have it turn into entirely something else?
Well, that is what happened with this card.

I cut a few dies, plus the dies you see I used  here,
and next thing you know I didn't use any of the originally planned die cuts.
However, I like the simplicity of this card.
A good one to send in the mail!

I started with a cream base, then die cut Spellbinders Cattails.
This is a somewhat intricate die and a little hint to get it
to release easily, is to place a piece of wax paper directly on
the die, then your paper, then cut.
It just pops right out and all you need to do then is peel of the wax paper.

The cattails were adhered down with  Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive,
just  on the bottom section to hold it in place.
I wanted the cattails themselves to be free standing.

Next I popped up a couple of pumpkins cut from
Memory Box Stitched Pumpkins.
There is a 3rd and larger size included I didn't use on this card.

I added a few leaves using Impression Obsession Small Leaf Set.

The leaves and the pumpkins were popped up with

The sentiment is from a Flourishes set I purchased at Classy Cards 'n Such
which is no longer in stock,
however, there are other Flourishes stamps still available,
so hurry and grab them while you can!

Halloween Greeting

It will be that "SPOOKY" time of the year before we know it.
Do you decorate your house for Halloween?
I am more into fall decorations
and add small bits and pieces of Halloween.
I do have a little skeleton that sits on the back of the
"ahem" toilet and holds a sign that says "EEEEK"!!!
I know, I  know, I have a warped sense of humor!

However I do love to make Halloween projects...
mostly the silly and/or vintage!

I did make a vintage card using the awesome Crafty Secrets products.
Look at that background....
I just love it and it is from Creating With Vintage HALLOWEEN CD #4.
I printed it 5 x 7 and a second time 4 x 6
to add to the inside!

The other image I used is from
This is a little booklet chock full of Halloween images....
32 pages in all and each page has 2 images.....
and best of all it is on sale right now!!!

I used a few dies to create my spooky scene.....
check out those "eyeballs" in the tree.
I added a bat cut from a gorgeous glitter paper
my friend Dar gave me last time she was here
(she is coming back in 2  1/2 weeks...
and guess where that little skeleton is going I mentioned above...
heeheehee...yep in the guest bathroom...sorry Dar...lol)!!

The pretty ribbons I used for my bow are from Really Reasonable Ribbon
I joined their ribbon club the first of the year and I love it when each month
a new packet arrives, I am trying so hard NOT to hoard it!

So check out the Crafty Secrets blog and enter our September linky challenge and hop.
