Gratitude

This is my post on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today..enjoy!

Today I have a pretty 'fall' card to share with you using the new stamp set Basket of Hope.
I added a bit of glitzy 'goodness' to it, let me tell you how I did it.

I die cut a pretty background to go under my stamped image using
Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight.
After it was cut I grabbed a piece of SNS Sticker Paper.

Peeling back the protective covering, I simply 'adhered' the die cut to the paper.

I then sprinkled Sparkling Snow glitter in all the open areas.  A little tip is to use a coffee filter
or a piece of scrap paper (like I did) folded in half to catch all the excess glitter, making it easy to just dump it back in the container.  Once done I used Tonic 5" Mini Scissors to trim around the die, then adhered to my red card stock base.

I found that the Tutti Designs Nesting Rectangle die fit almost perfectly on top
of the SB die, so I stamped the Basket of Hope image on to that using Nuvo Hybrid Ink Acorn Brown.  I also stamped the sentiment with the same Acorn Ink.
I colored the image with Copics, then stamped just to jar cloth onto a scrap of gingham paper
and once again using the Tonic 5" mini scissors, I cut it out and paper pieced it onto the jar.using Nuvo Glue Pen Medium.  Once done I used pop up foam to attach the image to the glittered die cut.

This was an easy card to make with the beautiful Basket of Hope stamp taking center stage!

Thank you for visiting with me today!!

This is such a pretty fall image. Gosh, I haven't used that SB frame in forever. I love how it looks with the stitched rectangle. You're giving me ideas again!
