Halloween Cat

Hi there...almost Halloween
and looks like I won't get all my cards shown this year
but will be ready for next year..lol!

I still have my Tonic post to do so am hoping to have it
tomorrow...we'll see....
I just received my new dies from Tutti Designs
and there were ten of them..meaning I have 30 cards to make.
Have you seen them?
They were just released and are beautiful
all are 'stained glass' dies and you can see them HERE.
My cards aren't up there yet but should be this week
(once I get them sent that is lol)!!
So, if I haven't visited you and been 'off the grid'
so to speak, well, that is what has kept me more then busy!

Okay, so today's card is once again using the
Tutti Designs Black Cat.

I die cut him from a black print paper and added green gems to his eyes.
A pumpkin was stamped and I added a few fun clouds
along with a few sequins.

Geez, I have a ton of Halloween cards and Fall too
I never sent out...but I WILL get my Christmas cards
mailed this year...yep I will!!

Country Soul

This is my post on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today

Hi, Diane with you today with a country-fied card perfect for a man!
I am showcasing a digital stamp using
Farm Fresh Tractors Digi 877B.
This set is also available in rubber 877P5

This is a pretty easy card to make.
I started out by using a sunburst embossing folder on black card stock.
I run the Nuvo Glue Pen Medium Tip down each burst
then sprinkling on Microfine Reflection glitter.

After printing the tractor, I colored it in with Copics.
A bit of sparkle was added to the tractor using a
Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen.
The image was then die cut using a Spellbinders Adorning Squares die

I once again used the Nuvo Glue Pen Medium Tip,
running it around the edges of the die cut,
then sprinkling with the Microfine Reflections glitter.

The image was adhered to the top of the embossed sunburst.
The sentiment was printed, then die cut with a
Cheery Lynn Fishtail Banner.

Being this was a 'mans' card I didn't want to add much more
but thought a sparkle red button tied with a metallic thread
would add to the country theme.

Once again here is my finished card.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

Happy Halloween

It is cooling down in my neck of the woods
in fact we are to have have snowflakes today/tomorrow...
nothing to stick but they just might appear...
guess that officially makes summer over and somehow I missed it!
Well as fast as times seem to fly
it will be Spring before we know it!

I have more Halloween cards to share today using
Tutti Designs dies.

This card was fun and once again I couldn't resist inking up
a big ole' moon!! I used TH Distress inks...
I have some of the new oxides but have yet to use them..sigh...
but I like my inky moon anyhow!

I used a flocked background paper from the Halloween
scrap bag....
and you can see at the bottom left it wasn't going to
completely cover my card, so I trimmed it a bit and
added a glittery scrap there
and think it worked just fine!

The die I used is Flying Witch.

I stamped a sentiment using my TH Tonic Stamp platform
on a CLD Fishtail Banner die,
enabling me to stamp perfectly.
I love that platform and use it daily!

I will be back later today with another Halloween card
and make sure and stop back Sunday afternoon
as it will be a Tonic Halloween 'Spooktacular' day you won't want to miss!

BOO

I'm back with another HALLOWEEN card today.

This is the 3rd (and last) card I made for the
Tutti Designs store using the 'Spooky Tree' die.

It's a smaller card and a simple card!

Using 110# orange card stock from Reflections
I embossed a spider web
and ran a piece of RRR ribbon up the front.
I die cut the tree from a scrap of black printed Halloween paper
stamped a BOO and fussy cut it out,
popped it and a spider on...
it's little, but it's mightly cute LOL!

Don't Be Afraid..
of my card at least...lol

Yes, yes another Halloween card..I have many many more....

This card was 'built' on a black card stock base,
then I used a brick embossing folder
for the Tutti Designs Spiderweb window to sit on.

I die cut 2 extra spiders from an orange foil paper.
The window was cut from a purple patterned DS paper scrap.

I stamped the sentiment in SU Only Orange.....

Merry Christmas

I created a lot and I mean  a lot of Christmas cards
for the Tutti Design store (though they aren't up there yet ...sigh)!

This one is another favorite of mine....
not only pretty, but an easy mailer.
I like that, I do make loaded cards and it's not too bad to mail
those out when you only have a few to send here and there,
but Christmas is another matter
as one year I made those folded Christmas trees
and sent out a bunch and each one was $2.34 to mail...yikes...lol...
live and learn as they say!!

For this card I used a red card stock base,
then used a snowfall embossing folder.
I die cut from a foil paper 'Christmas Night'.
The sentiment was SU Four The Holidays stamped in SU real red....
that's it easy peasy!

Boo~Haunted~Spooky

I had Christmas in the morning and now have Halloween in the afternoon..lol

Just a little Halloween card using the Tutti Designs Black Cat die.

This little card was 'built' on an orange 110# card stock base
(I have been buying those card stocks from Michael's and LOVE them)
I use the neutral colors mostly but it is fun to have the colors on hand too!

The background paper is from my Halloween scrap bag,
I added twine to the kitties tail and also to the card itself...
then added a cute little button/charm trick or treat bag!

Peace On Earth

Well it's not beginning to look like Christmas yet,
however we have snowflakes predicted for the end of this week,
nothing to worry about, but living off of Lake Michigan, well it happens!

I do have a Christmas card today that I really love.
Love that it is not just pretty, but the fact with a few dies
I was able to create an easy card.

I used 110# white card stock for the base, with a layer of red on top
and another layer of white on that.
Three CLD banners were die cut, then trimmed off at the Top
to fit my card.
I ran a piece of scrap ribbon around the banners,
then die cut a Tutti Designs Glowing Candle.
A sentiment was stamped in SU  Real Red ink using
the SU Four The Holidays set.

Seeing Spots

A new challenge today at
and our 'sistah' Terri is hosting with the theme of
'I See Spots'

Well, I definitely have spots on my card,
so many in fact I have spots inside spots LOL!

I used a lot of paper scraps for this 'Pinterest' inspired card.
I have a Pinterest board that is all circle cards.....
I am thinking maybe this winter I might sit down with
some paper scraps and see how many various cards I can make
using circles!!
Wouldn't it be nice to use up those scraps!

I used a 1" SU punch for the circles and a MS butterfly punch.
The sentiment is from SU  Vintage Verses.
I used my TH Stamp Platform to stamp the sentiment
with SU Tangerine Tango.

So this is an easy easy challenge using your ideas for 'dots'...
so why not join in with us and have some fun...

Tricks & Treats

After a quick trip to the vet this morning
with a cat that has allergies to the pollens in the air,
I have my 2nd Halloween card for today,
I used a fun embossing folder for this one
on black card stock, outlining the spider
with a Nuvo glitter pen from the Ember Glow set.

The web is a Tutti Designs Spiderweb Corner.
I added the little sentiment a few orange sequins.
Pretty short post, I know..but it came together fast!

Sympathy Card

Before I have more Halloween cards today
I wanted to post my card made for
Tutti Designs using the Swirly Sympathy die.

I used a white card base, then added a yellow card stock
and an older piece of SU striped paper on that.

I had a pack of these little journal tags
and added my die cute and a few butterflies to that.

The flower centers were each dotted with

I love these swirly dies as they take center stage
and just by adding a few papers and little details
you can have a pretty and easy card in no time!

Happy Monday All!
We have had such wonderful weather this past week...in the 70's beautiful~breezy and warm!
I have spent the last 5 days outside ALL day working on
my flower gardens to get them somewhat ready for winter.
Weather ha snow changes and it is raining and will for the next several days...
kind of glad as I have a very achy back and it gives me a break...lol!

I have more Halloween cards to share today
and this one is  made bascially using scraps and
a Tutti Designs die 'Black Cat'.

Instead of inking up a moon like I have been doing,
I just used a SB circle die and a funky designer paper.

Mr Cat is cut from a black glitter paper.

I will be back later today (and the rest of the week)
with more Halloween cards...hoping to mail a few out this week!!

Best Fishes

This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.

Diane on the blog today with the cutest digital image
'Gus - Fish Whisper' (Bug-A-Boo).
(Gus is also available in a rubber stamp as well HERE.)

I decided to create a step card with a stenciled background using the
Nuvo Embellishment Mousse.

I used painters tape to tape the Stampendous stencil  Bare Trees on my card stock on all four sides.
Working with a marshmallow applicator
(these are little applicators to apply inks and such with...you can just see it
at the top of the photo below)
I them applied Nuvo Embellishment Mousse colors
You need to work rather quickly as the mousse dries quickly.

Starting with the bottom piece, carefully lift the tape off,
then the two sides, and the top lastly, like a hinge.
Below is the finished result..so pretty!

I printed the image the size I wanted in black and white,
then colored with my Copics.
A Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangle was used to die cut the image.

Using Nuvo Glitter Markers (these are 3 pack pens) from the sets
I colored in the fish, glasses, water drips, boots, cattails,
and a few places on the patches of the pants.

Using 1 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape on the bottom piece
and 1/2"  Double Sided Tear-ific Tape on the side pieces of the image,
I sprinkled Chameleon Glitter on.

I printed the digital sentiment, then die cut with a smaller scalloped rectangle.
I once again used the Ember Glow glitter pens to edge the sentiment.

Here is a side view of the card, showing more detail of the background stencil.

Once again the finished card.

Ghouls Just Want To Have Fun

Today's Halloween card is is kind of silly
with the sentiment and the goblins...
but oh so very easy to make
using designer paper from Me & My Big Ideas.
Actually both pieces were just scraps left in the
'Halloween' scrap bag as was the piece I used for the tree!

This card was made for the Tutti Designs  store
using the die 'Spooky Tree'
that can be seen HERE.

The sentiment is a very old one from Michaels $1 bin....
I have had it forever!

Happy Halloween

Halloween is 'creeping' upon us (pun intended..lol)
and I have LOTS of Halloween cards to share...gee maybe I should mail some out!

I made this card using the Tutti Designs Spiderweb Corner.
You can see it in the Tutti store HERE.

I cut two webs, one from black and one from a designer paper,
then layered one on the other slightly offset.

I added a little '3D' spider and his lollipop
and stamped a sentiment from a really old
MS stamp!

All this was adhered to a black card stock base.....
that about sums it up...
I will be back later today with another Halloween card...
and am working on some really neat ones for Tonic Studio as well...
busy busy!!
